WELCOME FR. TARAS KINASH and FAMILY
What an extraordinarily special and memorable Pascha in our parish!
After a lengthy and complex process and a long journey in many ways, Fr. Taras Kinash and his family arrived in Ottawa on Friday, April 22, to become our new parish priest.
Glory be to Our Lord God for protecting and safely guiding Fr. Taras, Dobrodiyka Olya
and their two children to Ottawa and to our parish.
Fr. Taras was the parish priest at the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of the Nativity of Our Lord Jesus Christ in the town of Tetiiv, Kyiv Oblast, Ukraine from 2015-2022. He holds an Honored Seminary Diploma from the Ivano-Frankivsk Orthodox Seminary in Ivano-Frankivsk, Ukraine, and a Master’s Degree in Philosophy and Religion Science from the National University of Ostroh Academy in Ostroh, Ukraine.
